Rumsey Playfield Events

Rumsey Playfield is located in mid Central Park off of Fifth Avenue at 69th Street. Directions: 6 train to 68th Street on the east side, or 1/2/3/B/C trains to 72nd Street on the west side.

Rumsey Playfield, conveniently situated in the heart of Central Park, is the home of the long-running SummerStage festival. The Playfield is available for rentals in late May, August, and September each year. City Parks Foundation products over 70 events every season and has an average of 240,000 audience members visit this unique event.

Rumsey Playfield has a built-in production team, and can accommodate almost any type of event. In 2009 we became the new home for Good Morning America's Summer Concert Series. Other past clients have included Self Magazine, Netflix, Barilla Pasta, the National Fish and Wildlife Fund, LeadDog Marketing, The National Football League, the Bowery Presents, AEG, Live Nation, and the Oprah Winfrey Show. From concerts, to film screenings, to corporate events, we offer everything you need to product a spectacular event in the most famous park in the world.

Houston St. (between Ludlow & Essex Sts.) Monday-Saturday noon to 7 pm or the Music Hall of Williamsburg box office at 66 N. 6th St. Saturdays 11 am to 6 pm. "Israeli Day Concert"

An annual cultural event presented by the National Council for Young Israel, following the Israeli Day Parade. Live musical performances TBD.
