
City Parks Foundation (CPF) is the only independent, nonprofit organization to offer park programs throughout the five boroughs of New York City. We work in over 750 parks citywide, presenting a broad range of free arts, sports, and education programs, and empowering citizens to support their parks on a local level. Our programs and community building initiatives reach more than 600,000 people each year, contributing to the revitalization of neighborhoods throughout New York City.

CityParks Sports - Free Lessons in Parks!
From its veteran CityParks Tennis to more recent additions like CityParks Track & Field, CPF brings more free kids sports programs into parks throughout the five boroughs of New York City than ever!
CityParks Golf, Tennis and Track & Field help promote physical fitness, as well as building self confidence. These FREE sports programs are designed to make instruction and equipment freely available to those who want to learn in a fun, relaxed environment. CityParks Golf, Tennis and Track & Field free lessons for kids are offered for all skill levels.
CityParks Golf presented by the René Lacoste Foundation
CityParks Golf presented by the René Lacoste Foundation makes it fun and easy for boys and girls ages 6 to 17 to learn to play golf. These FREE golf lessons, held in public parks and on citywide courses, makes the sport of golf accessible to kids of all skill levels throughout New York City. Free use of equipment is available at all lessons. MORE
CityParks Junior Golf Center
Located next to the Dyker Beach public golf course in Bay Ridge Brooklyn, the CityParks Junior Golf Center is a new, state-of-the-art facility that offers free golf instruction to New York City children between the ages of 7-17. MORE
CityParks Tennis presented by Chase
CityParks Tennis presented by Chase, provides free tennis lessons to thousands of kids ages 5 to 16 each year in more than 36 parks throughout the five boroughs. MORE
CityParks Track & Field
CityParks Track & Field gives New York City kids the chance to learn the basics of the sport, from hurdles and relay races to long jump, shot put and javelin throw. MORE
CityParks Seniors Fitness
City Parks Foundation welcomes all New Yorkers, ages 60 and over, to participate in free tennis lessons, yoga instruction, and fitness walking in eleven parks across the city. All activities in this eight-week fitness program take place twice a week at each location and participants are encouraged to maintain regular attendance to maximize health benefits. No matter how old we are, our bodies always benefit from physical activity. MORE
