Golf

CityParks Golf presented by the René Lacoste Foundation makes it fun and easy for boys and girls ages 6 to 17 to learn to play golf.

These FREE golf lessons, held in public parks and on citywide courses, makes the sport of golf accessible to kids of all skill levels throughout New York City. Free use of equipment is available at all lessons.

As with all City Parks Foundation kids sports programs, the emphasis is not only on learning the basics of a given sport, but also in developing self-esteem, discipline, and sportsmanship. The program gives kids a chance to improve their skills and ultimately try out for the CityParks Intermediate Program and Junior Golf Academy - a specialized program for dedicated young golfers.

The Junior Golf Center Annex located in Flushing Meadows, Queens is a facility for intermediate-level players to get free specialized lessons. Click here for more information.

City Parks Foundation announces a fun, new golf program, the Jack Nicklaus Learning Leagues powered by SNAG golf for kids ages 5-8. Click here for more information.

CityParks Golf will be held in two sessions during July & August.  Click here for the 2013 Schedule.
