CityParks Golf presented by the Foundation Lacoste makes it fun and easy for boys and girls ages 6 to 17 to learn to play golf.
These FREE golf lessons, held in public parks and on citywide courses, makes the sport of golf accessible to kids of all skill levels throughout New York City. Free use of equipment is available at all lessons. Registration is currently closed for CityParks Golf.
As with all City Parks Foundation kids sports programs, the emphasis is not only on learning the basics of a given sport, but also in developing self-esteem, discipline, and sportsmanship. The program gives kids a chance to develop their skills and try out for intermediate-level programs and ultimately the CityParks Junior Golf Academy - a free, specialized program for dedicated young golfers held our Junior Golf Center in Brooklyn.
THE JUNIOR GOLF CENTER ANNEX
Located in Flushing Meadows, Queens the Junior Golf Center Annex is a facility for intermediate-level players to get free specialized lessons.
