City Parks Foundation (CPF) is the only independent, nonprofit organization to offer park programs throughout the five boroughs of New York City. We work in over 750 parks citywide, presenting a broad range of free arts, sports, and education programs, and empowering citizens to support their parks on a local level. Our programs and community building initiatives reach more than 600,000 people each year, contributing to the revitalization of neighborhoods throughout New York City.
CityParks Golf presented by the René Lacoste Foundation

CityParks Golf, presented by the René Lacoste Foundation, makes it fun and easy for boys and girls ages 6 to 17 to learn to play golf. These FREE golf lessons, held in public parks and on citywide courses, makes the sport of golf accessible to kids of all skill levels throughout New York City. Free use of equipment is available at all lessons.

As with all City Parks Foundation kids sports programs, the emphasis is not only on learning the basics of a given sport, but also in developing self-esteem, discipline, and sportsmanship. The program gives kids a chance to improve their skills and ultimately try out for the CityParks Intermediate Program and Junior Golf Academy - a specialized program for dedicated young golfers.
*CityParks Golf is open to New York City residents only. Participants are accepted on a first-come basis. You will be notified by mail if you have been placed into your requested program.

In all of its programming and activities, City Parks Foundation partners with the New York City Department of Parks & Recreation to improve neighborhood parks and the communities they serve.
