Mayor’s Cup Golf Tournament
Join Mayor Michael Bloomberg, as well as NYC business executives and celebrities for a full day of golf, great food and fun contests at the Mayor’s Cup Golf Tournament. Fortunate foursomes play one hole with the Mayor, an avid golfer who has supported the event since its inception in 2002. Founded and chaired by tennis legend Billie Jean King, The event will include a cocktail reception, dinner, and prime tickets to the Open’s afternoon or evening matches in Arthur Ashe Stadium. CityParks Corporate Putting Challenge
Now in it’s 5th year, the City Parks Putting Challenge is a series of free, lunchtime contests, held in the lobbies of high profile buildings throughout Manhattan during July and August. For a $5,000 donation, companies can sponsor and host a qualifying contest and free putting clinic for employees or the general public on a custom-made artificial green. The winner of each qualifying contest advances to the finals, and gets the chance to compete against a pro golfer. Past venues for the contest have included 2 Penn Plaza, 4 Times Square, Trump Tower and the World Financial Center Winter Garden.
