CityParks Seniors Fitness Benefit

Monday, November 5, 2018

6:00 pm - 9:00 pm

The Skylark

200 West 39th Street, 30th Floor New York, NY 10018

City Parks Foundation welcomes guests to the Seniors Fitness Benefit, a cocktail reception that supports CityParks Seniors Fitness. Enjoy gourmet food and signature cocktails at The Skylark—the exclusive mid-town cocktail lounge set thirty stories up with floor to ceiling panoramic skyline views.

The annual Seniors Fitness Benefit supports our Seniors Fitness program, which welcomes all New Yorkers ages 60 and over, to participate in free tennis lessons, yoga instruction, and fitness walking in parks across the city each spring and autumn. Even in moderate amounts, exercise can help us feel better, maintain or lose weight, reduce the risk of heart disease and diabetes, and minimize the symptoms of arthritis.

CityParks Seniors Fitness promotes healthy minds and bodies by bringing our senior neighbors into their local parks for vital social interaction, life-changing physical activity, and community activities that enhance the lives of participants and make our parks more invitingall free of charge.

We hope you will join us for this important benefit and support the 2018 City Parks Foundation Senior Fitness Program.
