On Thursday, October 4th, City Parks Foundation hosted our Annual Gala at the historic Gracie Mansion. CPF presented Mayor Michael R. Bloomberg and First Deputy Mayor Patricia E. Harris with the 2012 People & Parks Award for their outstanding commitment to the growth and revitalization of NYC parks, while TD Bank was recognized with the Green Leaf Award for their corporate dedication to greening in New York City.

City Parks Foundation’s 11th annual Mayor’s Cup Golf Tournament took place Friday, June 15, at the Split Rock Golf Course in Bronx, NY. Sponsored by Time Warner Cable and American Golf, the tournament is a fundraiser for CityParks Golf, a unique program for youth providing free instruction by golf professionals in NYC parks throughout the five boroughs. Seventy-five players, including Mayor Michael Bloomberg and three-time U.S. Open winner Hale Irwin, attended the annual event.
