SummerStage – Fania

7.17.2014 - 8.24.2014 | 5:00 pm - 10:00 pm | (2) Comments | Central Park

SummerStage aims to highlight and reflect on FANIA, with a series of events that showcase both the past and present across New York’s 5 boroughs where this movement was born 50 years ago. The series will be multidisciplinary, and include Dance, Music, Poetry, Theater, Film, Visual Arts, Panels and Family Programming. We will present legends that were on the label, artists who were part of the larger Salsa movement, and contemporary artists whose work are influenced by FANIA. Follow the action on social media with #SummerStageFania!
