New York City Mayor Michael R. Bloomberg and City Parks Foundation will welcome supporters to the annual Mayor’s Cup Golf Tournament on Friday, July 26, 2013 at the Pelham Bay & Split Rock Golf Courses in the Bronx. We will be joined by business executives, government officials, and notable celebrities, to raise funds for CityParks Golf.
After breakfast with the Mayor, participants play 18 holes on one of NYC’s finest public golf courses, and have the chance to go up against the Mayor himself. The day also includes contests with prizes and a variety of food stations. A cocktail reception and awards ceremony conclude the day.
Proceeds from The Mayor’s Cup benefit CityParks Golf, a special program that provides free professional golf instruction to more than 3,500 young people ages 6-17, in neighborhood parks throughout all five boroughs. Funds also support the CityParks Junior Golf Center in Brooklyn, where more advanced instruction and tournament training is offered.
All supporter packages include greens, range and cart fees; on-course contests and tee prizes; breakfast and lunch stations, and cocktail party.
