As a native New Yorker, I have always had a love/hate relationship with my city. Sometimes the pace of the city gets the best of me, and other times I feel able to fully bask in the breadth of cultural, social or architectural marvels that the city presents. I was so excited about my Marketing & Communications internship with City Parks Foundation because I wanted to reinvigorate my love for New York City as well as discover the process behind some of the programs, like SummerStage, that make my hometown feel so effortlessly whole at all times.
